But the demonstration evolved into violent conflict eventually, there were about 300 young people wearing black clothes threw stones to the police and smashed windows, the police quickly restrained, arrested many people. Many demonstrators who were responsible for the case covered their faces with masks when conflicting with the police, about 50 heavily armed riot police intervened to stop the conflict, and the troublemakers were pressed onto the ground then they were escorted to the police car. What is the Best for this Year?

The earlier demonstrations went on peacefully, it is estimated by the Denmark television that the number of demonstrators is between 30,000 and 100,000, while the police thought the number would over 50,000, because the length of the parade outside the room of climate summit is as long as 6 kilometers. Before the parade started, the authorities expressed concern that there would be extremists instigated violence action, and the organizers also called on demonstrators to remain calm.

As one of the organizers, Green Peace pointed out that about 300,000 people would die because of climate changes, which is not a problem about adaption but about the survival. Friend of Earth shows that we cannot endure damage to earth by carbon dioxide, since lacking of clean coal or petroleum which shall be maintained on earth. What€™s New?

Among the demonstrators, there is a group of people led by a Germany entrepreneur, who provided money out of his own pocket for 15 employees to go to Copenhagen. They pulled up the banner with “save our Earth, we have a share”, and said they did not represent the Government, just wanted to find a way to solve the global warming.

In addition to Copenhagen, another 130 cities all over the world are also planning to launch protests and hopes that representatives who participating in the Climate Conference in Copenhagen could put aside their differences and reach a consensus to effectively solve the problem of global climate warming. In Australia, the organizers said that there were 5 million people in the country involved in a variety of demonstrations.

The demonstrators in Sydney shouted with the slogan "we need clean energy, while we do not need coal mines, because Australia is one of the major exporting countries of coal.

Indonesia which is the three largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world, the demonstrators rallied outside the U.S. embassy in Jakarta, called for a superpower to support the developing countries to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

In Philippine, hundreds of environmentalists were pounding on drums and demonstrating in the capital Manila.

In city center of Marseilles, dozens of environmentalists enhanced the momentum with drums and whistles, one of them said, the final agreement in Copenhagen might be lower than expected, but he would always be a protest during the meeting.

In Berlin, protesters gathered at the Brandenburg Gate area. Some people dressed up as political figures of many countries and immersed themselves in a transparent flood tank. In the occasion of politicians holding negotiation, the water slowly rose in tanks; the environmentalists took this a symbol of the seriousness and urgency of climate changes.

In the front of Saint Eustache church in Paris, hundreds of people braved the rain to take part in the demonstration. They said the move was in order to exert pressure on the Government of France. Green Party National Secretary-General Sexy Err • Duffle called on French people to act during the meeting to remind the leaders of shouldering the responsibility to the mankind.

In general, Copenhagen was calmer in this weekend, but media reported, the next week, all kinds of demonstrations would stage one after another, and some of the activities were more radical and gave a critical challenge for security work.
